Fishhound Inshore Fishing Charters strives to give you the best inshore, nearshore and backwater light tackle fishing experience. Captain Scott Andrews is USCG licensed and fully insured. He fishes from a Carolina Skiff with a Suzuki Outboard. Scott has spent hundreds of hours on his boat perfecting the fishery and knowing where to find fish in all conditions. He works hard for anglers to give them the best opportunity to succeed out on the water. Along with having a great time, he also strives to create long lasting friendships with everyone who steps foot on the deck of his boat. Captain Scott has never met a stranger and makes the charter experience fun for everyone aboard. Scott loves to introduce children to the world of fishing with the hopes that when they leave it is with a new passion for rod, reel and tug of the line.

More and more people are discovering the benefits of inshore calm water fishing in the protected waters at Harkers Island. With a wide variety of species to fish for and diverse bodies of water there is normally a lot of action. Whether it's sight casting at the Coast Guard Station, to live bait fishing for large flounder in the Banks, throwing artificial lures to trout in the marshes or trolling open waters a few miles out. Captain Scott will put you on the fish.
If your looking for more of a relaxing day and just want to soak up the sights and sounds off the shoals then Captain Scott can definitely take you on a scenic tour for the day. Nothing more relaxing that taking in the beautiful views of Cape Lookout lighthouse, the wild horses that can be seen eating or swimming on the shores. Or if the tides are just right a trip to find seashells and sand dollars is always a treat.
Maybe it's some river action that more suits your style then Captain Scott can meet you at the river for some hot action. The River is a little slower pace but where the current keeps the boat moving and the fish biting.
